34 dates/cities announced, starting early September.

February 26, 2018

METALLICA's 'WorldWired' Tour, already one of the most profitable for the band, has also seen them play for record numbers of fans in the past year...and they're not done! North American dates for the Metallicats tour in support of 'Hard Wired...To Self Destruct' have just been released, with the band getting things rolling on September 2nd in Madison, Wisconsin. (see complete itinerary below) In advance of the announcement, Metallica had posted a Tweet with the simple message, 'Monday.' That same tweet was shared by a number of the venues/cities that the band had selected to perform in. The new dates mark their return to the 'home' continent, as the previous North American dates ended in Alberta, Canada last May...Additionally, the new trek will make a point of visiting markets that Metallica has not been to in decades, including El Paso, TX, Birmingham, AL, & Sioux Falls, SD. Currently touring in Europe, Metallica will finish up overseas in early May, then take a few months off before resuming in the U.S. Reports are that the performances will be 'In The Round,' and tickets go on sale March 2nd. Check the Metallica website for all the info! Other plans for the band include the re-release of  'The $5.98 EP-Garage Days Re-Revisited' on April 13th. Rock On, Metallica!
