With running back LeSean McCoy looking like a game time decision for Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars and running back Marcus Murphy already being promoted from the practice squad, the Buffalo Bills added to their backfield depth by signing Aaron Green to the practice squad.

Green is a second-year running back out of TCU. In his senior season, Green had 1,389 yards and 12 touchdowns and ran a 4.56 at his pro day. Green went undrafted in 2016, but was scooped up by the Los Angeles Rams for training camp. He was one of the final cuts during the preseason, but the Rams brought him back to the active roster in late December 2016. Green, again, was with the Rams for training camp in 2017, but was cut on September 2nd.

In November, the Dallas Cowboys brought Green onto their practice squad following the suspension of Ezekiel Elliott and the release of Darren McFadden. He was cut on December 18th.

If LeSean McCoy isn't able to go on Sunday, we could likely see Aaron Green activated to the active roster and dressed for the game. With Travaris Cadet on injured reserve, just Marcus Murphy and Mike Tolbert remain at running back.
