E.L.O.'s 2K17 Wembley Stadium Concert Coming to CD/DVD!

Of the film, JEFF LYNNE sez, "“the best time I ever had in music”

October 10, 2017

There was a long period of time where E.L.O. founder/singer/songwriter/guitarist JEFF LYNNE stayed away from performing in concert, instead busying himself with producing albums from a wide variety of artists, including TOM PETTY, GEORGE HARRISON, and The TRAVELING WILBURYS, to name a few. In addition to working with other artists, he also concentrated on practicing and improving his own musical skills. Mr. Lynne made his triumphant return to the performance stage in 2014, with a critically acclaimed show at London's Hyde Park, which served as the catalyst for more performances, and the recording and release of the album, 'Alone In The Universe' the following year. Buoyed by the success of the album and the appreciation of the E.L.O. catalog of music which has only grown over the years, JEFF LYNNE has been keeping busy with more shows, and is set to release  'Wembley Or Bust,' a wonderful chronicle (with an incredible set list--see below!) of this past summer's concert at London's Wembley Stadium. Mr. Lynne was clearly thrilled with the June 24th concert, exclaiming in the press release for the album & video saying, “the best time I ever had in music” and “beyond anything I could have imagined.” (watch the 'tease' for the film below!) The live album and concert film are scheduled for a November 17th release, and is now available for pre-order.
