LISTEN - Alice in Chains' Gritty Cover of Rush's '2112' Ballad 'Tears'

In what will be Alice In Chains'  first studio recording in three years, they're part of a RUSH tribute album called "2112 – The 40th." And the song their doing, "Tears," AIC adds just a touch of their own style to the song. Jerry Cantrell with his harmonized guitar instrumental section and new AIC singer William Duvall is a bit more gritty on the vocal side.

The reissue will also include other covers, with Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins and Nick Raskulinecz's "Overture," Steven Wilson's "The Twilight Zone" and Billy Talent's "A Passage to Bangkok." It drops December 16th.
