Welcome to the Grouch Couch!

October 25, 2017

Hola Bitcholas,

What a day. Woke up in a foul mood. No reason; just one of those days where, for whatever reason, you see the negative in everything...even if it's not there. I believe they call that 'waking up on the wrong side of the bed'. This is grating because there's no f**king reason for it. Why? How do get into a bad mood while sleeping? Makes no sense to me. You'd think that the one time you could avoid f**king up would be when you're unconscious.

So, I wake up in a 'mood', but had to not be a miserable bitch because I had to rally the kids for school...and they didn't do anything to deserve me being snarky or whatever. That worked out well for all of us. Although, I DID have to swallow some annoyance as my daughter takes about 20 minutes to get dressed. I need you to understand that it doesn't take 20 minutes to put on her school clothes...it takes HER 20 minutes. It's almost impressive...but it's more annoying than impressive.  This is every morning. I SHOULD be used to it.

Get to work and, as is often the case, my computer took a big old sh*t for no particular reason...much like my 'wrong side of the bed' morning. The real problem isn't the computer (it sucks, but) I'm not a tech savvy dude, so when things go south, my only course of action is to curse loudly. So it was this morning. I curse loudly so often that I don't think anyone even notices anymore. It's akin to the co-worker with allergies who sneezes...it's just their 'thing'.

Eventually, me and the computer found common ground (it f**king worked) and things moved pretty smooth from that point on...but I still couldn't shake the rotten mood. And that made my mood worse because there was still no reason for me being in a bad mood.

Then the show started...and things instantly got better. True. On our worst days, we count down to the start of the show because somehow this show elevates our mood every day. Hope it does for you too.

I'm outta here.

Until tomorrow, do what you do best and STAY BEAUTIFUL!
