Queen's Brian May Cancels Tour Dates Due To "Persistent Illness"

October 26, 2016
Queen guitarist Brian May has been forced to cancel all of his December concerts with Kerry Ellis because he is battling a "persistent illness."

In a message on his website, the 69-year-old rocker said, "I managed to complete the recent Queen + Adam Lambert dates in Asia but I have been increasingly battling with a persistent illness which is destroying my energy and my will. I am now at the point where I don't feel confident to perform the scheduled shows to the standard we all expect."
