Post-Rock Hall Induction, YES Adds More Concert Dates!

Niagara Falls, N.Y. will be a tour stop!

April 19, 2017

So, following their induction (finally!) into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, a couple of (favorable) things happened for the members of YES...first and foremost, it was a chance for original members, Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, & Rick Wakeman to get together after a looonng time apart, it was finally time for YES to revel in the celebration of their recognition as the leading 'Prog-Rock' band of all time, and it gave the musicians a renewed sense of vigor and purpose in continuing the YES story... BEFORE the HOF ceremony, there was YES, and there was also, 'ARW-Anderson, Rabin, & Wakeman. AFTER the ceremony, it was just...YES! Or, more to the point, Yes featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman, which is the name they will be touring under in North America during the latter half of 2017. (NOT to be confused with the YES tour that features Steve Howe & Geoff Downes!) In the recent past, there has been much 'sparring' between various members of YES (past & present) as to who had the 'right' to use the YES name. In their press release, JON ANDERSON addressed that issue by saying, “It’s very simple. The fans want it, we want it and it’s our right to use the name. Yes music is in our DNA!” In addition to adding more North American dates to the tour itinerary, the heritage musicians are also planning to hit the studio to record new music for inclusion in a new YES album sometime in 2018. Also in the works is a DVD that was filmed at the final U.K. show of their recent European tour on March 25, and that is set for release later this year. The complete North American Itinerary is below...It lists an early October date in Niagara Falls, N.Y!                                              For tickets, tour, & VIP information, click HERE!  Rock On!
