KANSAS Cancels Their European Tour...

"Safety & Security Warnings" cited as reason...

May 19, 2017

KANSAS has (regrettably) just announced that their eagerly-anticipated European Tour has been canceled...The tour in support of the band's newest album, "The Prelude Implicit," was scheduled to take place throughout June and July. The 'official' statement posted on the website BraveWords, states, “The cancelation is based on safety and security warnings issued by the United States government and various U.S. law enforcement agencies concerning Americans traveling in Europe this summer. Kansas is extremely saddened that the band will not be able to perform for its European fans this year.”  KANSAS Fans in Norway, Iceland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, France, and Germany are understandably upset with this turn of events, but the reality of the situation is that we live in a dangerous world, and safety concerns need to given priority when traveling outside of the U.S. In comparison to their U.S. Tour schedule (which will continue as planned...) the band's European Trek was of a smaller scale and could possibly be revisited at a later date...Safety First! Rock On!
