Eric Wood made his regular Buffalo Football Monday appearance on Schopp and the Bulldog following Sunday's win on the road against the Atlanta Falcons. The Bills are now 3-1 on the season, and in first place in the AFC East. Wood was apart of the 2011 Bills that had a hot start at 4-1, so he's been here before.

Here are some of the best quotes from Wood's interview:

On experts picking against the Bills:
"It was unanimous experts picked against us. Which is fine. We were able to make enough plays yesterday in a tough atmosphere. Our fans helped that. Shout out to all the Bills fans that showed up. They were loud."

On the team's success despite a lot of new players:
"We have a lot of turnover, but the guys we brought in are all similar. Long hours at the stadium guys. Guys like Poyer, Hyde, Gaines, Matthews, etc. They've made their transition easier with their work ethic."

Regarding how great the Bills defense has played:
"Defense is playing excellent ball, they're limiting big plays, making teams play the entire field, and have had clutch RedZone stops."

When asked about the offense having basically no turnovers:
"One thing we stress all the time is taking care of the football, it's called having respect for the football."

On the unity of the team:
"Were all like minded. We work the same way, we get a long well. That helps us like each other more."
