Sean McDermott had his first head to head matchup as a head coach against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots this past Sunday. With the loss, McDermott is now .500 on the season at 6-6.

McDermott joined Schopp and the Bulldog on Buffalo Football Monday, here's some of the best from his time with the guys.

On Tyrod Taylor getting injured, but staying in the game:
"I don't know if hurt is the right way to describe. He was working out there and he got banged on the first play, but he stayed in the game and he was communicating with us, we were communicating with him, and he was communicating with our medical staff."

On if Taylor will start this week:
"We're just going to take it one day at a time right now, it is Monday as we all know, and there's some soreness today. So we'll just get a better feel tomorrow how he comes back and then as we move throughout the week."

On the confusion with the referees:
"I was not happy with the spot. One ref marked it short and the other ref came in and signaled first down all the while they're changing personnel. By league rule the officials are supposed to stand over the ball and not allow them to snap the ball."
