Another day on the practice field, another one without LeSean McCoy for the Buffalo Bills.

The running back was held out of Thursday’s session while he continues to undergo treatment on his hamstring.  McCoy injured the hamstring just over a week ago then played about a half in Miami Sunday before sitting the rest of the game out.  Head coach Rex Ryan would not speculate on whether or not he’d have his top back this weekend against the NewEngland Patriots.

“It’s probably similar to last week,” Ryan said.  “We’ll see how he progresses the next couple of days.”

In the meantime, Ryan answered “I hope he’s right” when asked to comment on Marcell Dareus saying he is playing Sunday.  The defensive tackle has yet to play this season after serving a four-game suspension then missing three weeks with a hamstring injury.

The full injury report from Thursday’s practice looked like this:

Did Not Practice

RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring)

OG Richie Incognito (illness)

LB Zach Brown (illness)

S Aaron Williams (neck)

WR Marquise Goodwin (concussion protocol)

OT Cordy Glenn (ankle)

Limited

DT Marcell Dareus (hamstring)

RB Mike Gillislee (foot)

DT Corbin Bryant (shoulder)

WR Robert Woods (ankle)

LB Jerry Hughes (hand)

TE Charles Clay (ankle)

OG John Miller (shoulder)

LB Lerentee McCray (knee)

Ryan said he’s not too concerned about Glenn and “hopeful he’ll go.”

As far as Woods the head coach said “he looks better than he did last week.  We’ll see how he goes.  He was very limited today.  But hopefully he’ll improve enough and progress through the week that he’ll be able to play.  That’s what we’re hoping for.”

OT Seantrel Henderson was a full participant after sitting out Wednesday.

The team practiced on the New Era Field turf Thursday:
