In the newest installment of Intentional Scouting, Mark Schofield and I decided it was time to investigate the realm of free agency – considering it’s one of the deepest free agent pools for quarterbacks in recent memory. Cousins enters free agency following a surprising trade that saw the Chiefs send Alex Smith to Washington - effectively ending the club's five-year relationship with the former Michigan State signal caller.

After making over $43 million the last two seasons on consecutive franchise tags, Cousins hits the open market with an eye on $30 million per-year from his potential team.
