The Buffalo Sabres have back to back afternoon games. Today against the Kings and Monday at 3pm against the Capitals. For today's game, Jordan Nolan re-enters the lineup to play his former team for the first time. He goes in in place of Nicholas Baptiste. One other lineup change on the blue line, Justin Falk will be dressed in favor of Josh Gorges. Jonathan Quick will start for LA.

This is the second and final meeting of the year between the Sabres and Kings. The two teams' first game was just the 4th of the season. The Kings topped the Sabres 4-2, Drew Doughty led the way with a goal and an assist. The Kings are in the playoff hunt out West. They're currently 3 points back from both the 3rd place Pacific team (Calgary) and the 2nd place Wild Card team (Minnesota).

Kings rookie forward Alex Iafallo will play his first game in Buffalo of his career. Iafallo is a Western New Yorker from Eden, New York. In 55 games this year he has 6 goals and 13 assists for 19 points. Iafallo will be playing on the top line with Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown.
