1999 was the last time the Buffalo Bills made the playoffs.  It’s also the last season they won a Monday Night Football game.

Through the team’s sixteen year playoff drought, they’ve only appeared on Monday Night Football five times, but lost all five.  Their last win was a 23-18 win on October 4, 1999 at Miami.

Of the 32 current NFL franchises, the Bills have only the 26th-best winning percentage on Monday Night, going 17-24 overall (.415).

Their opponent this week, the Seattle Seahawks, have the best winning percentage on MNF, going 22-8 (.733).  In fact, Seattle is the only NFL franchise that has a winning percentage over .700 in Monday Night games.

The Bills last appeared on MNF last season, losing 20-13 at the New England Patriots, but had not played in that spot for six years before that.  The team did play on a Monday night in 2014 due to the November snowstorm that forced their home game against the New York Jets to be moved to Detroit, but that result does not count as an official Monday Night Football game.

Here’s the full list of the Bills' Monday Night Football game appearances and their results:
