This year’s AIDS Red Ribbon Ride will start on Wednesday, August 21 and end on Sunday, August 25. Last year’s event raised $45,000 for AIDS Care and included about 20 riders and 25 volunteers!
One of the many things that makes the AIDS Red Ribbon Ride such a unique and special event is the scenic route through the heart of the Finger Lakes and the Genesee Valley. During the 5 days, participants will ride an average of 80 miles a day throughout farm fields, historic villages and wineries. On the route and at camp, riders will be received by a full complement of volunteers that will be keeping everyone safe, healthy and happy!
All proceeds from the event fund medical care and supportive services to help those living with HIV/AIDS. To learn more about the difference your support makes in the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mw4uSDcDee4
