The 2010 Bank of America Casting for Caring Sport Fishing Tournament will be held Tuesday, May 11th 2010 at the beautiful Rochester Yacht Club on Lake Ontario. Alle Shea's Second Walk-n-Wheel For Better Bones
Saturday May 22, 2010. Second Walk-n-Wheel For Better Bones A fundraising walk in Rochester, NY, to benefit the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation and to honor and memory of Alle Shea, who was born on April 14, 2009, with OI. Alle lived for 5 weeks with this extremely rare disease (hers was only the second ever recorded of a specific gene mutation). Last year on August 23, 2009 we raised over $11,000 for the OI foundation. All of the money raised will benefit the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation for research, education, and family support for people affected by OI. Please help us give Alle Shea her legacy. 6x6x2010: You Asked For It! Last year more than 6,000 Visitors attended an exciting art exhibition of more than 3,000 artworks by nearly 1,200 artists from 17 countries, 36 states (and 4 species)! More than 1,400 artworks sold. It was a huge success! We asked every visitor to 6x6x2009 if we should have another 6x6 exhibition. Resoundingly, you answered YES! SUBMISSIONS DUE: May 2, 2010 at 5pm. Artworks may be mailed or delivered directly to RoCo, 137 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14604. Wed. - Sun. 1-5 pm, January 24 - May 2. Each submission must be accompanied by the submission form, available on the RoCo website. Artworks must be signed only on the back (to be exhibited and sold anonymously) and accompanied by the submission form.
