Hello. My Name is ____. And I Play for the Buffalo Bills
Hello Bills fans.
Let me introduce myself. Sort of. You’ve seen me play every Sunday, aiding the Bills to our 4-2 start. Or, should I say, the “No Name Bills.”
Few thought we’d get off to the start we’ve made in the NFL’s first six weeks. Not bad for a bunch of late round draft picks, undrafted free agents, afterthoughts discarded and overlooked by most teams. You’d think this would bother us?
We don’t care what folks call us. We are the Buffalo Bills. Period. We’re a bunch of castoffs with padded chips on our shoulders, scrappy and hungry, ready to take advantage of every opportunity we get. You want to call us the “No Name Bills?” Fine. Just ask our receivers, whom proudly dub themselves “The Goon Squad.”
I come from the same background. Here I am. Your personal No-Name Bill. I’ll be your personal backstage pass to the Buffalo Bills; a player writing a blog for The Break Room and 96.5 WCMF the rest of the season. I’ll be talking Buffalo Bills football, discussing last week’s game, next week’s opponent and answer your questions. I’ll offer a player’s perspective from all sides. I may even surprise you from time-to-time. But I'll remain nameless so I can be blameless for my honesty throughout the season.
Keep this page bookmarked for your very own No-Named Bills’ player-perspective on why this group of “no names” has been able to turn heads and enter the bye week already having matched last year’s win total.
At the end of the season, you’ll learn my identity, but by then, you’ll already know me. Heck, you probably already know me. And then, no Bills fan can say he doesn’t know a Bills player. Even if for now, I keep my identity hidden like a superhero.
I look forward to interacting with you. Please direct any questions to Christian Dan Borrello: email@example.com. He’ll send them my way. Ask me anything. Well, except my name, of course. That will come in due time.
Until then, I’ll be getting ready for the Washington Redskins.
(For now) Your No-Named Buffalo Bill.
