Bills' Glenn passes physical

The wait for starting left tackle Cordy Glenn is over. Just a few hours ahead of the team's practice on Saturday night the Buffalo Bills announced that Glenn has passed his physical and will be placed on the active roster.

To start training camp the left tackle could not participate in practices because of an undisclosed illness, and as a result was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list. Glenn first started missing time during the team's mandatory minicamp in June, but it is not clear if his time missed during that week was directly linked to the ailment that kept him out of practice.

In his stead the Bills employed seventh-round rookie Seantrel Henderson as the left tackle with the first unit, allowing the rookie to show that he can keep up at the position. With Glenn now cleared and on the way back to full playing time Henderson's role will likely shift to either backup left tackle, or he could possibly get a look at another position along the offensive line.

The Bills get back to work on the practice field at 6:00 pm at St. John Fisher College. The practice is open to the general public, but a ticket is necessary for admission.

Now that is good news, welcome back Mr Cordy
We truly need Glenn in there. The Bills did a poor job of addressing the O-line. The rookies will improve, but Marrone is in denial if he thought they were going to walk into these positions. The Bills have a chronic problem addressing the O-line properly, they just seem to lack common sense in this area. And Marrone was a lineman, I would expect better.

Good news o line
That's great Cordy is back It was good to get Henderson some important reps that won't do nothing but give the bills more depths on the oline GO bills!!!!!!

well?
the Bills can find someone to hold down the spot- they have enough players n time to find a good backup or maybe even a starter? Hairston? Kujo? Henderson- n many others plus there are still players being cut that might work?

Re: to well
I do see your point but i would love for the players here to step up first. Because they already know the schemes and how to make it work. But if the coach feel it's going to be a learning process. For some of them than i hope they can get him in here now. While it is still preseason. But i still say they are improving everyday. And everybody knows their nothing like games conditions. So a player to learn. Lets go buffalo
